Thistle Heads,

It's April and well into the spring sailing season. The month is
packed full of chances to sail and race so allow me to summarize:

April 5 and 6 is the Arizona Invitational. I heard that Mike
Poltorak scored a 1-2-1-1 on the first day and is leading the
regatta. If you haven't heard, he won the Lightning Circuit last
week. The man is on a roll.

April 13, is a club race day. We have not been out as a fleet since
MWW so I say let's get out there and do some racing. Who's gonna
knock Mike of his rock? Look for a call to race later this week.

April 19 is opening day and always a lot of fun. Blue Cheese will
represent the fleet in the sail by with Dei, Max and Anna onboard.
Bring a dish to be shared at the "Feed" and see Mike in his Yacht
Club whites (very entertaining!).

April 20, is the Thistle Racing Academy. Let's all plan attending
for training on the water. I will organize drills, starts and short
races. After we are done putting our boats away let's plan on having
a fleet barbeque and short fleet meeting. More on this later.

Finally, on April 27 the club is having triangle races. Let's plan
on closing the month strong and have as many thistles on the starting
line.

See you in the water.
