These world-class sailors, representing the USA in the 2016 Olympics, started sailing in MBYC's Junior Program.

Caleb Paine, Finn

I am happy to announce I won the selection for the US Rio 2016 Olympic Sailing Team on March 12, 2016. I finished the 2015 with the number one ranking on the World Cup Circuit and was able to finish in the top five three times including a win in the Delta Lloyd Regatta in Holland.  I am the US National Champion and currently ranked #4 in the open ISAF rankings.Link to website.

Ryan Porteous, Skud18

Maureen McKinnon and I are thrilled to represent the United States in the SKUD 18 class at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We know there is a long road ahead of us but we are dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate about our sport. Although running a campaign is rewarding, it is an expensive endeavor. The US Olympic Committee is providing some funding, but the majority of the costs of these regattas falls on us. Please take this journey with us and help us achieve our goal. We appreciate your support! Link to website.
